Trijicon ACOG scopes are designed to the exact specifications of the US Special Operations Command for use by elite US forces; the Trijicon ACOG TA01NSN is Trijicon's most popular ACOG scope. The ranging reticle allows for bullet drop compensation out to 600 meters without any manual adjustments. The reticle will appear black during the daytime and will glow amber in the dark, thanks to Trijicon's patented tritium illumination. Includes backup iron sights. Trijicon ACOG is an internally-adjustable, compact telescopic red dot sight with tritium illuminated reticle patterns for use in low light or at night. Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) models feature bright daytime reticles using fiber optics which collect ambient light. The ACOGs combine traditional, precise distance marksmanship with close-in aiming speed. Although the ACOG has many features that are very advantageous for military use, it was developed by Trijicon sights without government funding. Trijicon ACOG sights are primarily designed as M16 scopes, every feature of Trijicon scopes mechanical and optical design was chosen for a single purpose: to provide increased hit potential in all lighting conditions -- without failure-prone batteries. Airtight seals make the Trijicon A.C.O.G. tactical scopes waterproof to depths greater than 500 feet. A hole through the M16 integral base allows use of the iron sights without removal of the red dot scope. This Trijicon sight can be attached to the carrying handle with one or two screws (2nd screw is optional).
