With this in mind, Aimpoint has developed the Micro R-1 red dot sight, bringing competitive handgunners the same quality found in the legendary T-1 and H-1 scopes. The R-1 pistol sight is perfect for anyone who competes in handgun events such as the NRA Action Pistol or IPSC competition. Plus, like every Aimpoint red dot scope, you know that the R-1 is built to hold up under even extremely tough conditions.

With 13 settings, including an extra bright setting, the R-1 red dot scope is built to operate under a variety of lighting conditions. Whether you find yourself with limited light or under the glare of the hot sun, you'll be able to see with this pistol scope. The optics on the R-1 red dot scope have a multi layered, anti-reflex reflection coating. This Aimpoint sight offers windage and elevation adjustment of plus or minus 1 yard at 100 yards, and offers 4 MOA. The R-1 Aimpoint red dot sight protects your vision by not emitting any harmful laser, and offers unlimited eye relief. It is parallax free and unmagnified, giving you an unlimited field of view.

If you like to take your weapons into extreme environments, have no fear; the R-1 can withstand anything you put it through. This Aimpoint pistol sight is water resistant down to 15 feet, and can withstand temperates as cold as -20 degrees F (-30 degrees C) and as hot as 140 degrees F (60 degrees C). The battery life of this Aimpoint scope is outstanding, allowing for over 5 years of use both day and night. It runs on a standard type CR2032 3V Lithium battery. The R-1 Aimpoint pistol scope is made of extremely strong aluminum and has an anodized silver finish that complements your handgun perfectly, and also makes a great rifle scope on a stainless hunting rifle.

The footprint of the R-1 red dot sight is extremely small, as it is a mere 2.4 inches long, 1.6 inches wide, and 1.6 inches tall. When mounted, it weight in at just 3.7 ounces (105 grams).
