Designed primarily for military and police use, this red dot scope has proven its reliability in rugged settings all over the world. Not only is it extremely tough, its ease of use and extremely long battery life make it an excellent choice for anyone who uses their weapon in a serious capacity.

The CompML3 is designed to operate under any type of daytime lighting conditions, whether its dawn, noon, or dusk (if you need a night vision sight, check out the CompM3, also by Aimpoint). With 10 different settings available at the click of a switch, this Aimpoint rifle scope can adjust dot brightness to match your needs, and an extra-bright setting is provided for conditions when it is difficult to see the dot. The CompML3 riflescope is available in two reticle dot sizes, 2 MOA (Minute of Angle), and 4 MOA; at 100 yards, one MOA is equal to one inch. This Aimpoint red dot sight is a passive red dot collimator reflex sight, and the optics feature anti-reflex coating.

The CompML3 red dot sight, like all Aimpoint sights, is battle tested and designed to endure any kind of environment, even the most extreme. The rifle scope can withstand both very cold and very hot temperatures, as it has a temperature range of -50 degrees F to 160 degrees F (-45 to 71 degrees C). It also is incredibly water resistant, and is able to survive being submerged in water down to 135 feet (45 m). This Aimpoint red dot scope also offers an incredible 50,000 hours of typical battery life, thanks to Aimpoint's ACET technology. It uses a standard 3 Volt Lithium battery (type 2L76 or DL1/3n).

The CompML3 scope is 2.2 inches wide, 2.2 inches tall, and 5.1 inches wide. At 7.8 ounces (220 grams), the weight on this Aimpoint riflescope is quite reasonable. The material housing for the CompML3 Aimpoint red dot sight is made of high strength, extruded aluminum and, the sight is mount protected by a matte black rubber cover.
