The CompM4 rifle scope features outstanding optics and superior light transmission. This Aimpoint red dot scope is compatible with first, second, and third generation Night Vision Devices (NVD's), making it ideal for any mission, day or night. It has sixteen dot brightness settings, seven for night and nine for day, including one extra bright setting. The optics feature anti-reflex multilayer band-pass coating, which allows it to reflect frequencies of red light at almost full efficiency, allowing for very clear and bright images when the red dot sight is used with third generation NVD technology.

Aimpoint has always been known for making tough scopes, but the CompM4 is the toughest of them all. It is water resistant down to an astounding 150 feet (45 m). Furthermore, this red dot scope will survive no matter how cold or hot it gets, with a a range of -50 degrees F up to 160 degrees F (-45 degrees C to 71 degrees C). It is powered by a standard AA battery, and is so energy efficient that it can typically run for eight years on a single high quality battery. The Aimpoint CompM4 is available in two versions, the Comp M4 with a high battery compartment, or the CompM4s which features a low battery compartment.

The CompM4 sight has an integral mounting system which can be customized with spaces to fit a variety of weapons types. The CompM4 Aimpoint scope is also able to absorb recoil due to a mount base that is keyed into the body of the sight. The riflescope is 4.7 inches long, 2.8 inches tall, and 2.8 inches wide (120mm x 72mm x 72mm). It weighs in at a very reasonable 9.3 ounces (265 g).
