The 9000L red dot scope is available in two different dot sizes, 2 and 4 MOA, with one Minute of Angle equal to 1 inch at 100 yards. The optical reflection coating on this Aimpoint rifle scope is anti-reflex and multi-layered. The 9000L scope also features 10 different red dot brightness settings, including one ultra-bright setting for conditions where the dot would normally be difficult to see. The riflescope is free from any parallax, and at 1x magnification the field of view and eye relief are unlimited.
Like every Aimpoint scope, the 9000L was built to take on the roughest elements and come through unscathed. With water resistance of up to 15 feet, this Aimpoint red dot sight can even survive if you have to swim across a river or hunt in pouring rain! Extreme heat is no problem, as the sight can handle heat of up to 140 degrees F (60 degrees C). It can also withstand cold down to -20 degrees F (-30 degrees C). Thanks to Aimpoint's ACET technology, the typical battery life is an unprecedented 50,000 hours, and it runs on a standard 3 Volt Lithium battery (type 2L76 or DL1/3N).
The 9000L Aimpoint sight weighs in at about half a pound, and is 7.9 inches long, 2.2 inches tall, and 2.2 inches wide. The ring width is adjustable between 2.4 and 6.1 inches. Its tough material housing consists of extruded, high strength aluminum, and the Aimpoint riflescope has an anodized black, non-glare finish. Switching is done mechanically, which is both dependable and very quick.
