The 3XMag does not change the point of impact, so when you won't need to re-zero the sight when you use it. Whether the Aimpoint module is mounted with the standard 30mm diameter tube, or via the 4 screw holes on the bottom, the process is quick and easy. The 3XMag is also well suited as a handheld magnifying glass; use it as a monocular when you need to observe and identify your targets from afar.

The Aimpoint 3xMag offers up to 90mm eye relief at a 5 degree field of view, and up to 65mm eye relief with a full field of view. It weighs a reasonable 7.1 ounces (including the rubber cover) and is 4.3 inches long, 1.7 inches wide, and 1.6 inches tall. It has a ring width of 30mm, making it compatible with Aimpoint rifle scopes.
